Canto hosted its fifth annual worldwide Partner Meeting in Berlin from April 16th to April 18th.  Seventy-six associates of Canto technology and service partners from Europe, America, Asia and Australia attended the three-day event and confirmed their commitment to Canto as a reliable long-term business partner.

The meeting was kicked off with a presentation of Canto’s 2011 record results. Last year’s revenue was the highest in the company’s 22-year history. Subsequently, Canto partners attended a demonstration of the Canto Cumulus release 8.6 and the new Canto Integration Platform (CIP). Both will be available by the end of May. “CIP allows us to help our customers easily integrate their applications with Cumulus. I am very excited about the potential this has for the development of new applications and mobile apps, but also for design and branding possibilities of user interfaces“, explained Canto CEO Ulrich Knocke.

They have evolved from developing off-the-shelf software packages to providing outstanding, more targeted solutions that focus on customer’s specific processes and requirements”, said Ricky Patten, Director of Canto’s Australian Platinum Partner DataBasics Pty Limited. On the opening night of the meeting, the partners joined the Canto team for a dinner in Berlin’s underground tunnel at Potsdamer Platz and experienced Berlin’s history first hand. During the dinner, Canto honored 2011’s most successful partners with the Canto Partner Award.
